筒が枝分かれしたような3種類の曲面は、上からD曲面・G（ジャイロイド）曲面・P曲面と呼ばれ、それぞれ無限につながることができます。まったく同じ帯状のピースのつなぎ方を変えて作っています。 

The three types of surfaces, which look like branched tubes, are called D surface, G (gyroid) surface, and P surfaces from the top. Each can form a infinite tessellation. They are made by connecting the same strip-like pieces differently.
