この作品は、模型の体験を通して数学的な概念に親しんでもらうことを目指すシリーズのひとつです。 柔軟な竹のピースと伸縮性のある布のパッチを縫い合わせ、繊細な力のバランスで形を整え、幾何学的に複雑な極小曲面を作り出しています。

This work is part of a series aiming to make mathematical concepts accessible through the experience of a physical model.

Flexible bamboo pieces and stretchy fabric patches are stitched together,  shaped in a delicate balance of forces, to create a geometrically \complex curved minimal surface.
