A therapist will return your phone call promptly to discuss your concerns and determine how to best address your needs. If you meet criteria for treatment at our counseling center, we will arrange a date and time to contact you for a telehealth appointment. We will give you instructions, as needed, to connect with Google Duo, a free, HIPAA-compliant video platform that works with cell phones, computers and other electronic devices with cameras. If you prefer to use your laptop computer to operate Google Duo, set up a Google Duo account using your cell phone, then login at duo.google.com. When a therapist calls you for a telehealth appointment, it will ring on the cell phone you used to set up the account and, if you are logged in at a computer, it will ring on the computer as well. Select the “accept“ button to accept the call either on your phone or on your computer.
Although a doctor's referral is not required to participate in therapy, doctors' offices may fax referrals.
We will call the referred patient, then notify the doctor's office of the status of the referral within 2 business days.
