Course Selections for 2026-2027 School Year
COURSE SELECTIONS ARE UNDERWAY!
Your involvement in the course selection process is key to your child's success!
While students start this journey by meeting with their counselors, we encourage them to share those conversations with you.
To help keep the dialogue going at home, all the information shared with your child is available right here on our website.

Course Selection Process
Step 1: Counselors will present course options and assist students with instructions on how to complete their planning guides and enter their course selections into HAC.
Step 2: Students will take a copy of their planning guide home and review them with parents in HAC.
How to review course selections in HAC:
Sign into HAC
Click on the "Classes" Button
Click on the "Schedule" Tab
Scroll down to see Next Year's Course Requests
If there are any questions to course descriptions, please scan the QR code or click on the link to the left. It will direct you to the Northside ISD Middle School Course Catalog.
Step 3: After reviewing courses - if everything looks okay, no action is needed on your part. If there is something you would like to change, please complete the form below. The deadline for any and all changes is May 1, 2026.
Step 4: Once this is completed your child will be pre-registered for the 2026-2027 school year. Course selections review will be available in HAC and confirmation of courses will be sent out to families, by email, in early Spring.

Course change requests
We will begin accepting requests to change courses for the 2026-2027 school year courses beginning on Monday, February 2, 20206.
The deadline for any and all changes is May 1, 2026.
*Please Note: All requests will be considered on an individual basis. Not all requests are guaranteed due to special programming, class sizes, and availability. A counselor will contact you only if there is a conflict in the change request. Please allow 24/48 hours for changes to reflect in HAC.
