Scholarships

The Sigmund Foundation Scholarship and the Sigmund Scholarship for the Trades were established to provide financial assistance to needy residents of Jackson and Lenawee Counties in Michigan. The scholarships of up to $5,000 can be renewed through the application process. Funds are restricted to tuition, books, and related fees. 

Jackson Community Foundation offers many different scholarships to Jackson County residents. Each scholarship has a varied amount of requirements such as a minimum grade point average, area of study, financial need, new graduate or returning learner, etc. For each scholarship, you must have 1 letter of recommendation, transcript, and proof of FAFSA completion. The deadline for the application is February 14, 2022, at 5 pm.

Myer and Lois Franklin Charitable Trust were established to give back to the community by assisting others with the cost of education. This scholarship gives interested students the opportunity to apply for funds between  $1000 - $5000. Funds are restricted to tuition and fees. 

The Jackson Legacy Scholarship is an endowment fund from which the Jackson Community Foundation provides scholarships to qualifying Jackson County students who plan to attend Baker College of Jackson, Jackson College, or Spring Arbor University.  Scholarship awards are dependent on the continuing availability of funds. The deadline is February 14th, 2022 at 5 pm.
