Original Text:
-¿No tienes amiguitos?
DEEPL:
That morning, like every Saturday, Rosa Elena hurriedly got dressed to visit her beloved nephew. She took great care in her appearance and chose an elegant outfit, as Raulito was an observant child and liked her to dress nicely. He always waited for her with open arms; she was his favorite aunt and played with him as if she were his age. She didn't make the mistake of explaining things to him several times. Adults bored him with their repetitions. He could easily understand many things from the start. That morning, Rosa Elena noticed that Raulito was sad. She approached him, kissed him tenderly, and asked him,
“Why are you so down, love of my life?”
“I feel lonely and I have no one to play with!”
“Don't you have any friends?”
“Yes, I have friends at school, but none of them leave their homes. They're all like me. Locked up.”
Sadness overwhelmed Rosa Elena, who understood her nephew. As a child, she had experienced isolation and confinement firsthand; she also knew the bitter taste of loneliness. Despite having five siblings, she lived in isolation due to her health condition. However, she had an imaginary friend, and they had many adventures together. Raulito touched her knee with his little hand.
