The Computer Assisted Translation course was much more than just learning how to use tools such as MateCat, DeepL, and others. By working on websites covering topics as varied as medicine, science, legal documents, and literature, we not only put our translation skills into practice, but also learned how to organize ourselves, research, and adapt content according to the type of text and audience. It was a very practical approach that allowed us to see how computer-assisted translation is applied in real contexts, and we also developed creative and collaborative projects that prepare us for the professional world. In short, it was a comprehensive, dynamic, and very useful experience for our training as future translators.
