This project aims to address the challenge of ASL/English interpreters’ gaps in knowledge when working with deaf academics, deaf researchers, and deaf STEM professionals.
This compendium of stand-alone modules provides “crash course” type content that interpreters may need to know when working with deaf professionals in academia, research, and/or STEM. Each topic has a concise summary and links to supporting references and resources for more information.
This project was developed by Kat Womack in fulfillment of the capstone requirements for her Master's in Professional Studies from RIT in summer 2023.
