CABUYAO CITY JAIL: OUTREACH PROGRAM
Behind bars are people who are often forgotten and unfairly judged, even if they have not yet been proven guilty. With this in mind, our team reached out to the detainees in Sala City Jail, Laguna, bringing them food to ease their daily struggles and sharing God’s word to give hope and strength in a place where hope is often hard to find. It was a moment of reminding them that they are still valued, still cared for, and still deserving of compassion despite their situation.
What moved us to do this was the deep belief that kindness should not be limited by walls or labels. Many of those inside long for understanding and encouragement and by spending time with them, we showed that people outside still see their worth. Through food, presence and prayers, we sought to plant seeds of faith and light in their hearts, so they may continue holding on with courage until the time they can step out and rebuild their lives.
MARINIG CABUYAO: SCHOOL SUPPLIES GIVING
Bright smiles filled the streets of Marinig Cabuyao, Laguna as children received school supplies and small treats in time for the back-to-school season. Along with the notebooks, pencils kits, crayons and candies we prepared for them, we also shared short but meaningful words of encouragement and hope from God’s Word. The simple gifts may have been small in value but they carried with them the message that each child is cared for and supported as they continue their studies. Seeing their joy reminded us that kindness, no matter how simple, can bring light to young hearts.
Rooted in our desire to uplift and inspire, this effort came as a way to give children something they could use while also reminding them of God’s love. We wanted to show that going back to school is not only about supplies but also about carrying faith and encouragement in their hearts. By combining practical help with spiritual guidance, we hoped to spark joy and strengthen their confidence in facing the new school year. It was a small act but one that reflected our mission to share love, compassion and hope in every way we can.
FOOD GIVING: STRAY CATS AND DOGS
Compassion was at the center of our 2nd year anniversary as our team went around Cabuyao, Laguna to share food with stray cats and dogs. These animals often wander the streets with little to eat, yet they carry a quiet strength that inspired us to extend care in our own small way. By giving them food, we hoped not only to ease their hunger but also to show kindness to lives that are often overlooked. Each stop reminded us that love and concern should reach all beings, whether human or animal.
Marking two years of service felt more meaningful when celebrated through giving rather than receiving. Choosing to reach out to stray animals came from seeing their daily struggles and realizing that they, too, deserve compassion and recognition. It became a celebration not of what we have achieved but of the values that keep our organization united—care, empathy and service. Feeding them may have been a simple act but it reflected a bigger message: our journey as an organization is guided by the belief that even the smallest lives matter.
HOME FOR THE AGED: BAHAY NI MARIA
DONATIONS
Laughter, warm smiles and touching stories filled the halls of Bahay ni Maria as our team visited the elders who live there. We gave meals, groceries, medicines and other essentials with them, but more importantly, we gave our time, care and bond. Every handshake, every conversation and every smile reminded us that small acts of kindness can bring comfort and joy to those who often feel alone. The event was not only about giving but also about learning from their wisdom and feeling the love they openly shared with us.
This event came from our desire to reach out to elders who rarely have visitors and to remind them that they are important. We wanted to create a moment where they felt remembered and cared for, showing them that they still have a special place in our community. By spending time with them and meeting their needs, we were able to bring hope and happiness even for a short while. It was a meaningful experience that touched not only the elders but also us, inspiring us to keep spreading kindness wherever we go.
FOOD GIVING: J.P. RIZAL CALAMBA HOSPITAL
LOCATION OF THE EVENT
Warm smiles and small acts of kindness can bring comfort to people who are going through difficult times. With this in mind, our team visited J.P. Calamba Hospital in Laguna together with Monde Nissin, COPC Jeddah and COPC Main Youth Ministry to share snacks with patients and nurses. Patients were reminded that they are not alone in their journey while nurses received a simple token of gratitude for their tireless care and dedication. It was a moment where compassion was expressed not through big things but through presence, food and genuine care.
What inspired this effort was the thought of bringing hope to those who need strength the most. Hospitals can often feel heavy with worry and pain, so sharing simple food became a way to lighten hearts even just for a while. Seeing patients smile despite their struggles and nurses feel appreciated for their sacrifices made the experience deeply meaningful. It showed that kindness, no matter how small, can heal in ways medicine sometimes cannot.
RELIEF GOODS GIVING: FLY TO CEBU
PRE-EVENT
We visited Talisay, Cabu with hearts ready to serve, bringing relief goods to families affected by the recent typhoon. Seeing the strength and resilience of the community despite the damage reminded us that even small acts of kindness can make a big difference. This outreach was not just about distributing food and basic necessities, but also about sharing hope, compassion and solidarity during a difficult time. Being part of this effort strengthened our commitment to help others and to continue serving communities in need.
