Our first event was made possible through the support and collaboration of the COPC Teachers. Together, we reached out to children in Balakbakan Cabuyao, Laguna by giving them food and by sharing the word of God with them. It was a day filled with smiles, laughter and warmth as we witnessed how simple acts of kindness can bring joy and hope to young hearts. Seeing the children enjoy not only the food but also the stories and messages of faith reminded us of the true meaning of service. We chose to do this because we believe that helping others should touch both the body and the spirit. Giving food fills their hunger but sharing the word of God feeds their hearts and minds with strength and guidance. This event became our way of planting seeds of love, faith and compassion in the lives of children who deserve care and inspiration. It was a simple start but one that gave us the courage to continue our mission with purpose.
BALAKBAKAN: SCHOOL SUPPLIES GIVING
After the success of our first visit, we returned during the back to school season to bring joy and support to the children. This time, we prepared school supplies to help them begin their classes with excitement and confidence. The smiles on their faces showed how much it meant to them to have something new to use as they start another school year. Through this effort, we wanted the children to feel that they are not alone in their journey and that someone cares for them. Giving them the basic things they need for school is a simple way to inspire hope and motivation. It was a meaningful experience for everyone, as it reminded us that small acts of kindness can leave a lasting memories on young hearts.
EL SOL RIVER SIDE: SCHOOL SUPPLIES GIVING
We visited El Sol Riverside and went house to house to personally invite the kids to join us. It was not easy because we needed to cross the river to reach their homes but we made sure to greet them warmly and share our purpose with them. Meeting them face to face gave us a chance to connect and encourage them in a more personal way.
Even though the path was challenging, the experience was very meaningful. Crossing the river and walking from house to house made the invitation more memorable for us. It reminded us that true service is not always about comfort but about the willingness to reach out and bring people together.
FIRE VICTIMS CLOTHES DONATION
Our team reached out to the families in Bigaa who were affected by a fire. We brought with us the clothes that were donated to our team and added some of our own personal clothes to share with them. This small act of giving was our way of showing support and care to those who lost so much. It was a meaningful moment because we were able to help lighten their burden, even in a simple way. Seeing their gratitude reminded us that kindness can bring comfort and hope during difficult times. This experience strengthened our commitment to serve others and stand with communities in need.
STRAY CATS AND DOGS
We went around NIA Road to share food with stray cats and dogs that often wander the streets hungry. We wanted to show them care by giving them something to eat and reminding others that even animals in the streets deserve kindness. It was a simple way of spreading compassion and making a small difference in their lives.
FOOD AND GIFT GIVING FOR KIDS AROUND CABUYAO
During the Christmas season, our group shared joy by giving food and candies to children we met along the road. It was a simple way of spreading kindness and reminding them that the season is about love and sharing. The smiles and happiness of the kids made the moment more meaningful and inspired us to continue reaching out in small but heartfelt ways.
