Mosaic sessions
Participants above 16 years of age.
The open public is welcome to attend workshops which will be delivered in Maltese and English.
A provision of tools, supplies and recyclable materials
Sources of inspiration based on design, creation and colour will be offered to compile a piece of craft.
Overview of workshops
The artistic team and participants get together whereby workshop sessions are delivered in a non-formal approach. Members are encouraged to feel the selected recyclable items texture. The artistic team will guide members to handle the mosaic tools. Followed by a demonstration of cutting techniques with materials into units of various sizes, forms and shapes. Members are encouraged to experiment the cutting process of which units are assembled, based on the principles and elements of art.
Participants
Msida Mosaic project embraces participants from diverse backgrounds, linguistics, religious beliefs, ethnicities to be part of this transformative project. whereby they will be given a safe space to share their stories, and experiences.

The Purpose
Ecological thinking and values of sustainable growth are the limelight of the project across the collection of recyclable items to embellish spaces of the locality. Through the project involvement and engagement, the artistic team and members are addressing citizenship skills creation and design.
