Msida
Msida forming part of the inner part of Marsamxett harbour displays a milieu of boats around Msida’s Marina landscape. This connects the past onto the contemporary life cycle across the citizens economic means and paving way for marine transportation which addresses the ecological factor and sustainability in the neighbourhood. Msida's landscape is unique in its own environmental identity.
Msida Mosaic Project
Msida Mosaic’s principal aim functions as a social enterprise with a purpose to address environmental sustainability across social practices towards the concept of responsible waste consumption, choices and decisions. Thereby, Msida Mosaic collect recyclable materials such as glass, chinaware, terracotta, tiles and jewellery to produce a mosaic art piece. This will revive the traditional craft as well as design, arts and industry. The team strives to produce hand crafted items for interior and exterior decorative use across the craft of mosaics highlighting a low footprint as well as low maintenance yet aesthetically appealing
