Called 'Nica', this title is reserved for the current COCODE representative for the village of Jicamapa. A community-elected position, he volunteers his time to attend local community meetings and work directly with the town and municipality to develop resources for his community. His efforts have helped support the creation of a water treatment program that services Ipala's surrounding villages.
