3/2 5p - We have seen the Commission's announcement of a one hour limit to public comment. We're working some strategies. More soon.
3/3 7:30p - We are staying the course! If the Commission chooses to silence us, they will have to do it to our faces on 3/10.
3/5 - We are asking everyone to bring a printed copy of your remarks. If the 1 hour time limit holds, we want to collect everyone's remarks and hand them to the Commissioners.
Leavenworth City Commission is scheduled to vote on the CoreCivic Special Use Permit during their meeting on March 10.
If the permit is approved the ICE Detention Center will open immediately.
