Rank Certification

Combat Judo International is seeking exceptionally talented black belts, mixed martial arts coaches, military and law enforcement veterans, and experienced teachers of reality-based military combatives.

We need you to help CJI expand our global footprint and develop more students and practitioners of Combat Judo.

Submit an application to join the CJI Board of Examiners. If approved, you will receive CJI issued Personal Combatives Instructor certification that demonstrates your level of knowledge, rank and tactical proficiency as a Combat Judo Instructor. Finally, you will have a Certificate of Instructor Competency signed by a distinguished Board of Personal Combatives experts attesting to your ability offer education, training and thereafter certify others in CJI approved methods.

How To EARN CJI INSTRUCTOR CERTIFICATION

If you currently hold the rank of 2nd degree Black Belt (or above) in a legitimate martial art and no less ten (10) years’ experience in the same with at least two years' experience as a Lead Instructor, you meet the minimum standard to become a Combat Judo International certified instructor.

Please apply and submit a brief two or three page martial arts biography/resume', copies of legitimate rank you have earned, and a narrative describing your teaching or coaching experience.

If you meet the minimum standard, will carefully and respectfully evaluate your application package for consideration.
