Accreditation

Accreditation

Combat Judo International is the only martial arts credentialing body in North America approved by the United States Department of Defense and NATO to offer fully accredited anti-terrorism force protection education and personal combatives.

INDEPENDENT ACCREDITATION

The principal agency responsible for the accreditation of military doctrine, training standards, and policy impacting civilian instructors and private military security contractors rests with the United States Army War College (USAWC) and two other organization, the U.S. Secretary of Education and the Council for Higher Education.

The U.S. Army War College is accredited by the Commission on Higher Education of the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools, 3624 Market Street, Philadelphia, PA 19104, (215) 662-5606. The Commission on Higher Education is an institutional accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation.

US-CJCS Accreditation

The Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff is, by U.S. law, the highest-ranking and senior-most military officer in the United States Armed Forces and is the principal military advisor to the President, the National Security Council, the Homeland Security Council, and the Secretary of Defense.

With specific reference to tactical training provided by approved civilian entities and private contractors, accreditation is pursuant to Joint Publication 4-10; ‘Operational Contract Support’ as authorized by the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff (CJCS), February 2018.

This publication provides doctrine for planning, executing, and managing operational contract support in all phases of joint operations. It sets forth joint doctrine to govern the activities and performance of the Armed Forces of the United States in joint operations and provides the doctrinal basis for interagency coordination, contracting support, contractor management, and prescribes joint doctrine for education, and training.
