Synergy

Our research is focused on computational materials science and catalysis. We have been contributing to a few research activities within the department and the university.

DOE EPSCOR Center for Interfacial Engineering (CIRE)

CIRE leverages expertise in diverse areas with focus on the   nanoscale to generate innovative technologies.  These areas include heterogeneous catalysis, nanomaterials, colloidal and interfacial science, thermodynamics, and molecular modeling. As members of CIRE, we have been collaborating with Drs. Resasco and Crossley in our department.

Oklahoma Photovoltaic Research Institute: The Oklahoma Photovoltaics Research Institute is a statewide consortium focused upon education and research programs related to next generation solar cells. This multidisciplinary Institute comprises of faculty members (both experimental and theoretical) from Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science, and Engineering from all three major research Universities in Oklahoma: Oklahoma State University, the University of Oklahoma, and the University of Tulsa, in addition to industrial partners within the state.
