11/09/2018 Isaac, an undergraduate in our group, received an ACS SWRM (Southwest Regional Meeting) Student Presenter Travel Scholarship (as recommended by the Oklahoma Local Section) as well as the OU Funding Award for Student Travel (F.A.S.T.) to present his work the 2018 ACS SWRM meeting in Little Rock, Arkansas. 

10/30/2018 Tong presented her talk, as a finalist among seven overall, in the Award Symposium of the Area 8E Electronic and Photonics Materials at the AIChE meeting in Pittsburgh. Her trip was partially funded by the Robberson Conference Presentation & Creative Exhibition Travel Grant.

The one on charge screening in catalysis was identified by the session chair Hongliang Xin (Virginia Tech) as the "Best Presentation" of the session.
