CCSP will host a series of webinars throughout FY24, covering topics related to colorectal cancer, screening, and health equity. 

CCSP Basics 101

The CCSP team reviews an overview of all program components. Topics covered include program structure, navigation and navigating for colorectal cancer screening, CCSP evaluation reporting, billing processes, and basics of lung cancer screening, familial history/genetic screening, and sustainability planning.

Reading and Understand Endoscopy and Pathology Reports

Join expert guest Jennifer Kolb, MD as she breaks down each section of endoscopy and pathology reports. A thorough examination of important terms and what you need to know for CCSP monthly evaluation reporting.

Bowel Preparation - Tips for Navigators

2021-2022 Sustainability Planning Series - Part 1: Tools and Frameworks

Hosted by the CCSP program and the sustainability team at the Center for Public Health Systems Science at Washington University in St. Louis

Sustainability of patient navigation programs and practices requires a dedicated approach based on several domains that influence sustainability. In this webinar, Kim Prewitt and Caren Bacon from the Center for Public Health System Science at Washington University in St. Louis provided an overview of the Patient Navigation Sustainability Assessment Tool (PSAT) and Clinical Sustainability Assessment Tool (CSAT). Then the Colorado Cancer Screening Program (CCSP) team discussed how they worked in partnership with the Wash U team to adapt the questions and concepts from the PSAT and CSAT to develop the Patient Navigation Sustainability Assessment Tool for Cancer Screening (PNSAT).

CCSP Sustainability Planning Process

CCSP's October 2018 an April 2019  Monthly Calls focused on an overview of the sustainability planning process that all clinics participating in the Program will progress through during the FY19-21 grant cycle. Topics discussed include the sustainability domains, CCSP's adapted Patient Navigation Sustainability Assessment Tool used to assess current capacity, the process for building a sustainability plan, and resources.

COVID-19 and Cancer Updates

Dr. Christopher Lieu, Medical Oncologist at the University of Colorado Cancer Center provided an update on the COVID-19 landscape in Colorado, including cases, resource utilization, vaccination and boosters, and implications for healthcare professionals and cancer patients.
