Colonial Beach Chamber of Commerce maintains this shopping-related website.
If you like shopping or even looking for hidden treasures, check out Colonial Beach's year-round indoor flea market. Many of our personal guests visit and almost all come away with something interesting! There's also Gitie's antique store a few miles west of town.
Hawthorn Mercantile has some great shopping for interesting items you might not find anywhere else. Same with Magnolia Hall.
The town has a nice art gallery for viewing or purchasing unique artwork!
Colonial Beach Discount Store. Year-round souvenirs, nicknacks, beach supplies and more.
Food Lion is a decent sized grocery store. Hall's Market is smaller and about 2-3 minutes further down the road but has more fresh food options. Dollar General and Family Dollar are also both in town. There is a small farm stand with local produce on Colonial Avenue on weekends in the spring, summer and fall.
If you need to stock up on groceries or anything, there's a Walmart Supercenter in Dahlgren about 20 minutes up the road that has most anything and everything you might need.
If you're looking for fresh, local seafood to make and enjoy at home, visit Shady Lane which has a great, high-quality selection of fresh seafood. Heads up: service can be “salty.”
