If you are unable to preorder, shirts will be available for sale during the Rice Festival at the Info Tent located in front of City Hall.
About the Artist
This year's design was hand-cut by local silhouette artist, Luke Mixson. Inspired by his great uncle, who is also a silhouette artist, Luke began cutting designs when he was just 11 years old. What first began as a hobby later blossomed into a business venture by popular demand. Luke has custom creations spanning the US from South Carolina to Texas, Washington, Rhode Island.. all over!
Most recently he won the People’s Choice Award at the Walterboro History Arts and Music Festival (WHAM!) and collaborated with the City of Walterboro and Colleton Museum and Farmers Market to create the "Welcome to Walterboro" mural Downtown.
We are honored that Luke is allowing us to share his talents by designing the 49th annual festival t-shirt!
