TABLE OF CYPRIAN SYLLABOGRAMS
The table indicates that Cretan Linear A signs (syllabograms, each representing a single syllable) were adopted and adapted for transcribing languages used in Cyprus in the Bronze Age; this Cyprian writing system (conventionally known as "Cypro-Minoan", CM) developed into the Iron Age syllabary (Linear C), employed mainly for Hellenic inscriptions.
