Click here to access the AGRI 1001 Resume Template. This will open the resume template as a Google Doc in a new browser window.
In the Google Doc window, go to the top left menu - click File - select Make a copy from the drop-down menu (note: you will need to sign in to your Google account before you can make a copy).
You will then see a "Copy document" pop-up window. Change the Name of the document to (your) First Name Last Name Resume
Edit and customize the resume
When you're ready to add the resume to the webpage follow these steps:
Go to your finished resume in Google Docs and click the "Share" icon in the top right corner. Change the General access settings from Restricted to Anyone with the link - Viewer. Then click the Copy link button in the bottom left of the Share menu.
Now, go back to your Google Site editor, and navigate to the Resume & Career page. Using the editing menu (right vertical sidebar) click the Insert tab, scroll down the menu and click Docs (5th item from the bottom).
After clicking Docs from the Insert menu, a secondary menu will appear with a list of your recent Docs:
To find your resume, click the search (spyglass) icon, and either type in the filename (First Name Last Name Resume) OR paste the file link that you copied in step 1.
Your resume file should now appear in the list. Click the resume file, then click the Insert button that will pop up in the bottom right corner.
Your resume should now appear on the webpage. Click and use the blue adjustment circles around the border to change the document size within the page.
Remember that you must update the sharing permissions so we can access and grade your resume!
