In this subsection, answer the following prompts:
Think back to your first day at LSU. Where are you now compared to where you expected yourself to be at this point in your college career? Describe how you have learned to deal with failures, setbacks or obstacles. What is something you are proud of from the past semester?
If you could share advice with an incoming student, what would you tell them? Share your advice on adjusting to academics and college life.
Photos (optional): Include at least 3 photos that represent your first-semester at LSU. The photos should be appropriate for your audience, keeping in mind that future employers may view this webpage.
Choose one of the following areas that you plan to include in your college experience:
Study Abroad
Internship
Student Employment
Undergraduate Research
Leadership in an Organization
LSU Distinguished Communicator Recognition Programs (Certificate, Medal)
Service Projects within the Community
Explain why you selected this option and describe how this will fit with your academic, career, and/or personal goals. This should be about 3-5 sentences.
Use the Odyssey Plan Guide and Odyssey Plan worksheet (printed or digital) to develop 3 Odyssey Plans of 3 different lives
Life #1: The story you tell today about how life will most likely be
Life #2: The life you would live if Life #1 was no longer possible
Life #3: The life you would lead if money, status, or resources were of no importance (i.e. your wild idea, what would you do if you had everything you needed?)
Each Odyssey Plan should include:
At least 1 professional and 1 personal milestone per year on each plan. Use your own style that illustrates and brings personality to your ideas
A title or a name for each plan (no more than 6 words) that describes the essence of what this life plan is about
Completed Dashboard Gauges (Resources, I Like It, Confidence, Coherence)
2 to 3 questions this plan creates for you
Add your 3 Odyssey Plans to the Impact & Reflection PDP webpage
Option 1: insert as Google Slides
Option 2: save each plan as an image, and upload the images
