AGRI 1001 Instructor
Assistant Director of Professional Development, Internships, and Career Services
College of Agriculture, Louisiana State University
I am thrilled to serve as an instructor for AGRI 1001 alongside my role in the Dean's office. My career in higher education was inspired by the experiences I had while I was a college student. I became very involved in numerous student organizations and held an on-campus job, allowing me to build connections with university staff and learn more about how the institution works. Since I started graduate school, I have had the opportunity to work at universities across the country that have allowed me to interact with a diverse group of students and grow both personally and professionally. I hope you take advantage of all that this journey has to offer, and who knows - you may discover a future career based on an experience you have here! I'm thrilled to join the College of Agriculture at LSU and begin immersing myself into all things Purple and Gold!
The "Electronic Personal Development Plan", or e-PDP for short, is a portfolio project that students in the AGRI 1001 first-year seminar course will work on throughout the fall semester. All instructors created a portfolio to build connections with students in their sections as well as to provide models for students to review when building their own portfolios.
I hope you enjoy looking through my portfolio, and learn a bit more about my mission and values, professional experience, career goals, academic background, and my involvement within the LSU and greater Baton Rouge communities.Â
