In 2019, Pinecrest Academy of Nevada - Cadence Campus was one of only ten schools in the state to be awarded the Nevada Governor Designated STEM School distinguishment.
The elementary, middle, and high school curriculum and program offerings were audited to ensure quality and accessibility of programs for all students.
Feedback is being implemented to continue to grow and strengthen the programs.
2019 State Silver Level
Pinecrest Academy of Nevada - Cadence Campus students compete annually in the the National CyberPatriot Competition.
CyberPatriot’s National Youth Cyber Defense Competition challenges teams of high school and middle school students to find and fix cybersecurity vulnerabilities in virtual operating systems. Using a proprietary competition system, teams are scored on how secure they make the system. Top teams advance through the online round of competition, and the best of the best advance to the in-person National Finals Competition.
