Introduction:
Here in the twenty-first century there are millions that daily to this idolatrous queen. They are slaves to her traditions. Only the Lord and the scriptures can open their eyes.
Definition:
The Queen of Heaven is an idolatrous image that has existed for millennia. She has taken on many names: Astaroth, Ishtar, Diana, and today... Mary the mother of Jesus.
1. God speaks to Jeremiah. Who does He say that Judah is worshipping? Jeremiah 7:18
2. Was the idol worship of Judah hidden? What did God say to Jeremiah concerning his prayers? Jeremiah 7:17, 16
3. Were they worshipping only the queen? Were they worshipping others? Jeremiah 7:9
4. Was the Lord pleased with this worship? Jeremiah 7:20
5. The whole family participated in honoring her. How severe was their punishment for worshipping the queen? Jeremiah 7:16-19, 15
6. How did Jesus speak to Mary, his earthly mother? John 2:1-4; John 19:26
Note:
Jesus spoke to Mary as a woman. He did not give her honor as a mother. This is because He is the Son of God. Mary was only the earthly conduit by which He came into the world.
Note:
Jesus's statements is not a license for children to speak to their parents in the same way. Earthly children, honor your earthly parents!
7. Was Mary free from sin? Does she qualify to be a god or the queen of heaven? Romans 3:23; Galatians 3:22

9. Whom must we worship? Revelation 4:10, 11; Psalms 96:9
Conclusion:
Judah worshipped the queen of heaven; they were exiled from their promised land. Many Christians worship the queen of heaven; what will be their fate?
