Church of God (7th Day) New Jerusalem

We are a Sabbath-keeping, Bible-based church built on the foundation of the Prophets and the Apostles that recognises the Headship of Jesus Christ (Yahshua/Yeshua Messiah)-Ephesians 2:20-22. We preach repentance from death works and salvation through baptism in Jesus' name. The Church upholds the Commandments of God and the Faith of Jesus (Exodus 20:1-17, Revelation 14:12; 12:17).

Originally headquartered in Jerusalem, Israel, the Church in Kenya was established through the Great work of Elder Andrew N. Dugger from Jerusalem Israel, and international missionaries; A.M. Shoemaker and William Heuer.

As part of our mission to spread the Gospel of Salvation to all nations, we have carried out missionary work in Burundi, Rwanda, Zambia, Tanzania and The Democratic Republic of Congo.

We have pending missionary trips to Malawi and Zimbabwe which we are yet to honor because of travel restrictions as a result of Corona virus.

Administratively, the Church has the General Overseer as the Country’s overall Elder heading the Presbytery of Regional Overseers and is assisted by a Deputy General Overseer. Regional Overseers are appointed to take charge of regional subdivisions and are assisted by local churches’ Pastors and Deacons. Each Local church has a Church Board comprising of 7 members of high repute appointed from the congregation.
