Code Unite is a student-led organization that aims to expose the underprivileged community (neurodivergent children, low-income families, orphans, etc.) and other young children who wish to learn to the emerging computer science field, by linking mentors and well-educated high schoolers to teach basic coding skills to the youth. Our goal is to promote inclusiveness and inspire these individuals to a possible career in STEM so that there is more diversity in this prospering branch of engineering.
We plan to conduct more coding lessons for the underprivileged at more orphanages and homeless shelters.
In the future, we look forward to collaborating with hospitals and neurodiverse children.
We hope to host fundraisers and give donations to organizations that help close the digital divide.
