What is the Education Committee?
The Code-I-Con Education Committee is a program for high schoolers who want to spread their love for Computer Science to young minds throughout the community. In this committee, members will have the opportunity to gain volunteer hours, while also developing their critical thinking and communication skills. Leadership positions will be available, so sign up soon!
Responsibilities:
Develop curriculum for the Summer Camp aspect of Code-I-Con
Serve as mentors in Summer Camp courses of their expertise
Throughout the year, will join the Outreach Committee and teach at opportunities that are made
Prerequisites:
Must have proficient knowledge in a coding language
- HTML & CSS, JavaScript, Python
- Other programming languages that are not listed above are welcomed
Communication skills to be able to present in front of students
