My research program includes collaborative projects with Tribes in central and northern California and museum-based research in Oregon. The majority of my research focuses on low-impact, community-based participatory research projects, with an emphasis on historical ecology, environmental archaeology, archaeological geophysics, ancient proteomics, and zooarchaeology. I also conduct research in the Great Basin through zooarchaeological analyses. As part of this research, I am currently analyzing human coprolite samples from Danger Cave, Hogup Cave, and Paisley Caves.
