The workshop is planned to take place at the AfriCHI Conference, with all facilitators and participants physically present at the conference venue. During the workshop sessions, participants will have the opportunity to interact with the facilitators and other participants. We encourage active participation and discussions, providing ample opportunities for participants to contribute their ideas and engage in group brainstorming activities. To foster collaboration and idea generation, we will utilize the collaborative whiteboard tools Google JamBoard. These tool will be available for all participants to contribute their ideas and collectively brainstorm as groups. The Google Jamboard offers a visual and interactive platform for participants to collaborate effectively during the workshop.
Throughout the day, the workshop session includes a range of activities. The activities are divided into seven sessions namely welcoming, familiarization, sharing challenges facilitating co-designing with children, grouping participants, working on interventions, group presentations, and a debriefing/reflection session.
