In their second appearance at the Fall Kickoff, the team from Troy, led by senior Demetrios S, once again emerged victorious with a perfect 10-0 record. Runners-up Geneva and Bishop Ludden-Grimes A played against each other in a Round 11 tiebreaker, with Geneva, led by senior Austin C, taking the 2nd place trophy.
Demetrios was the top individual player at the tournament, with an average points per game of 133.5 (just 2.33 shy of his 2024 Fall Kickoff performance), with Austin C (117.00 PPG) and Bishop Ludden-Grimes junior Marek Solak (56.50 PPG) taking the second and third ranks.
With their victory, Troy earns a qualification spot to the 2026 NAQT High School National Championship Tournament. Geneva, and both Bishop Ludden-Grimes A and B teams, earn a Small School National Championship Tournament spot.

The team from Cooperstown, lead by junior Brian Z, went undefeated for eight games of play to win our second annual Fall Novice Tournament. Geneva B took second place with a 6-2 record, but special recognition must go to middle school team Bishop Ludden-Grimes B, featuring 8th grader Aidan E and 7th grader Mufungizi K went 4-4 and took 3rd place!
Cooperstown's Brian Z took the top spot among individual players, averaging 91.25 points per game. Geneva B's Marco P took second with 78.75 PPG, and Bishop Ludden-Grimes's Aidan E and Asimwe K tied for third with 36.88 PPG.

With 20 teams from 11 schools from across New York State (and even some from Pennsylvania), this was Central NY's largest single-day quizbowl event since the 2019 Ithaca Fall Tournament. The competition was won by one of the Pennsylvania teams, with Berwick A finishing 9-1 and averaging a tournament-best 338.0 PPG. CNYQuA first-timers Niskayuna A took the 2nd place trophy due to their playoff wins against 3rd place trophy winner Fairport A and 4th place Wallenpaupack A. All four teams earn a qualification berth for NAQT's High School National Championship Tournament!
Geneva's Austin C took the top individual scorer spot, averaging 107.50 PPG over the preliminary rounds (and 89.50 overall). Berwick A's Jaxon H won the MVP trophy with his #2 rank (100.00 PPG in prelims, 80.50 overall), and Parker N from Wallenpaupack A ranked #3 (83.75 in prelims, 73.00 overall).

The team from Troy, led by senior Demetrios S, wins their second Upstate NY competition with a perfect 10-0 record and a dominating 351.5 PPG. Taking second place is CNYQuA-newcomers Christian Brothers Academy, led by senior Thomas C. Perennially dominating in the MasterMinds circuit, CBA played in their first-ever Saturday tournament, finishing with a 7-3 record and 275.5 PPG. Both teams will receive a qualification spot to the 2026 NAQT High School National Championship Tournament.
Demetrios (137.00 PPG) and Thomas (76.84) also took spots 1 and 2 on the individual scoreboard, with Bishop Ludden-Grimes's Mya B (59.50) and Alex E (59.47), as well as Saratoga Springs's Derek L (56.00) joining them in the Top 5.
