Scheduled Offerings

With teacher feedback, NYS Initiatives, our accomplishments of the past years, and the current climate all taken into consideration, the CNY/OC Teacher Center Policy Board chose the following as the focus areas for 2026-27.

1. Professional learning and/or support for enhancing educators’ strategies and skills in meeting the needs of diverse learners: Equitable learning opportunities for all students

2. Professional learning to enhance and deepen teacher content knowledge aligned with the NYS P-12 Learning Standards: ELA

3. Professional learning and/or support for teachers to prepare for implementation of the NYS K-12 Computer Science and Digital Fluency Learning Standards

4. Professional learning and/or support for the creation and maintenance of safe, secure, supportive and inclusive learning environments for all students; Culturally Responsive-Sustaining Education Framework

5. Professional learning and/or support for the creation and maintenance of safe, secure, supportive and inclusive learning environments for all students; Social Emotional Learning Benchmarks

6. Professional learning and support for teacher growth, leadership, and/or improvement
