Policy Board 

The CNY/OC Teacher Policy Board is the governing body of the Center. The Policy Board is comprised of representatives from CNY/OC region school districts, administration, BOCES, local business, and an institution of higher education. Education Law 316 requires the board to be comprised of at least 51% teachers in order to ensure that teachers have the ability to make decisions about the professional learning opportunities made available to them. The Policy Board operates under the guidelines of the New York State Teacher Center standards and Center By-Laws. The Policy Board meets regularly to advise the Director, set policy, oversee the budget and program, and communicate to constituents.
