Luis Paulino is a computer engineering graduate from NJIT. As a member of the CNAlab, he is dedicated to developing affordable and accurate methods for muscle monitoring, which may be used to improve the diagnosis of neuromuscular diseases, as well as the control of active prosthetics.

Jobelle Hernandez is a senior studying Biomedical Engineering on the biomechanics track. She has always had an interest in the biomechanics applications in healthcare, specifically rehabilitation. She is continuing her education at NJIT as a Master’s student in the Fall 2023 semester. She hopes the research she conducts will have a positive impact on patients through its effectiveness and efficiency. In addition, she believes in the expansion of healthcare tools/resources access, and hopes her research will contribute to it. Outside of academics, she is an avid reader of various genres including mystery, contemporary, and non-fiction.
