Opportunities
We are often looking for new members. If you are interested in joining the CNAlab, please send your CV and research interests to the PI.
Ph.D. students
We recruit our Ph.D. students through the Joint Ph.D. Program in Biomedical Engineering between NJIT and Rutgers Health Science Campus in Newark. Highly motivated students with a solid background in electrical/mechanical engineering, computer science, neuromuscular physiology, and/or physical therapy are encouraged to apply. If you are interested in joining the CNAlab as a Ph.D. student, you are encouraged to contact the PI via e-mail.
Undergraduate/Master's students
We value participations of Undergraduate/Master's students in ongoing or new research projects. There is no specific requirement such as prior research experience and specific courses. However, we would like you to be willing to learn and to dedicate to research! Undergraduate students are expected to spend approximately 10 hours per week (e.g., 3 hours/day and 3 days/week). Master's students are expected to spend approximately 15 hours per week for project option and approximately 20 hours per week for thesis option. If you would like to learn more about joining the CNAlab, you are encouraged to contact the PI via e-mail. In your e-mail, please include (1) your major and concentration if applicable, (2) a brief statement explaining why you are interested in the research, and (3) a copy of your resume and (unofficial) transcript attached as a PDF. Admission information for Master's program can be found here.
Postdoctoral fellows / visiting scholars
Currently, we do not have a funded position. However, we are open to discuss any fellowship/funding opportunities for joining the CNAlab and developing collaborative projects.
