The year 2023 started strongly for the Department of Horticulture with six (6) skilled and competent faculty members and one (1) staff. Unfortunately, Dr. Melchor L. Cuizon left the department in the middle of the first quarter, in his search for a greener pasture. Hence, the department was challenged again in terms of the number of faculty manning requirement. To cater the increasing number of undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in various course offerings, it was able to hire five (5) Contract-of-Service faculty and two (2) part-time faculty.
