ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT
The Department of Horticulture, being one of the premier departments in the College of Agriculture is manned by five (5) permanent faculty members actively involved in the Instruction, Research, Extension and Production Thrust of the University. The Department continues to offer both undergraduate and graduate courses: Bachelor of Science in Agriculture major in Crop Science Horticulture option, Master of Science and Doctor of Philosophy in Horticulture, respectively. These graduate programs had recently been revised to align with CHED Memorandum Order No. 15, s. 2019 on Policies, Standards and Guidelines for Graduate Programs.
GOALS AND OUTCOME
To produce globally competitive graduates, the Department continues to be actively involved in the University’s accreditation and evaluation activities for the standardization of its processes and services, locally and internationally.
