The Horticulture Department proudly celebrates its remarkable achievement of securing the top 10 position on the latest Licensure Exam in Agriculture last November 20-22, 2023. On top of the rest of the Horticulture major students who successfully joined the roster of Licensed Agriculturists in the country, Ms. Eidenwin Velasco Canoy placed 10th garnering a percentage score of 85.33%.

The department has also produced five (5) topnotchers in the Agriculturists’ Licensure Examination (ALE) since 2013 (Table 6). Prof. Raul E. Margate topped the Board exam in 2013. Two years later, Ms. Jimae Faith B. Magnaye ranked number 9 in the June 2015 Board exam. In October 2016 ALE, Russel Van Roa and Kristoffer Dan D. Abregana ranked second and seventh place, respectively. Another horticulture graduate gained the top 3 post for the 2017 ALE Board Exam. She is Ms. Jolina B. Gono.
