Short description: This course offers an introduction to the rich field of few-body quantum phenomena. The theoretical foundations of Rydberg atoms, low-energy scattering and emergent constituents in many-body settings will be discussed, including their experimental realizations in solids, quantum optics and quantum simulators. Topics include:
Theoretical foundations of quantum technologies, Rydberg qubits, Polarons, Efimov effect, Slow light, Polaritons
Requirements: BSc in physics or comparable.
