The Community Montessori Parent Teacher Association welcomes you! As a PTA, parents and teachers work collaboratively to support our children and our school through many events and volunteer opportunities. Together we can ensure that every child reaches their fullest potential.
The PTA is made up of various committees that support our School Accountability Committee (SAC) through tactical planning and implementation. In addition, the PTA has several other committees listed below which support our school.
YOU are an essential part of the PTA. Whether you are new to Community Montessori or are a returning parent we would love to have you involved. All are welcome and encouraged to attend any and all of our meetings and events. One goal this year is to continue to strengthen the community part of Community Montessori, and we will be most successful if we have the inspiration and input from a large and diverse group of families. Stay tuned for big and small ways to get involved!
Feel free to contact us with any questions, concerns, suggestions, or ideas. We look forward to working together with you to support our school, all of our staff and teachers, and each other so our children will have the best opportunity to grow socially, emotionally, and intellectually this year!
All parents can volunteer to serve on committees or in any of the various ongoing volunteer jobs. There are no size limitations for committees. All volunteers are welcome. The chairperson is chosen to keep the committee focused and facilitate progress.
You may contact any of the chairpersons if you would like to become involved with a committee. It is a way for you to have a voice and to stay in touch with things that will affect your child’s school and education.

Our PTA has set up a fund to ensure all interested parties can be voting members of the CM PTA by simply filling out this form. There is no requirement to pay the $10.25 dues to join our PTA voting membership. You can elect to cover your own dues by PayPall or drop off a check (made to CMPTA) with the office.
