Dr. Subhas Singha Roy joined the department on 10th April, 2001. Keeping his vast experience in academic and administration in mind, college authority entrusted to him to shoulder the responsibility of IQAC in July, 2011. Since then he is IQAC Coordinator of Chandidas Mahavidyalaya. He was invited to deliver speech on NAAC preparation in two different colleges of Bankura district. He is an invited member of Academic sub-committee of Sree Chaitanya College, Habra and nominated member of Higher Education, Govt. of WB in Purbasthali College, Burdwan (E).

Apart from teaching-learning- evaluation activities, he shoulders various administrative responsibilities. The University of Burdwan utilizes his expertise in various fields. Currently he is the invited faculty member of the department of Political Science, DDE, Burdwan University. He is permitted to supervise research scholar in the department of Political Science, university of Burdwan.

Research is one of his passions; he did his PhD from Jadavpur University, Kolkata in 2018. In his capacity, he has 07 journal articles, 12 book chapters, 2 edited books and one book (sole author). Besides, he presented papers in national and international seminars and workshops. During his long academic career he attended 01 orientation programme, 5 Refresher Courses, 06 Short term Courses. UGC granted him MRP in 2014 which he successfully submitted in 2017. He is joint editor of an academic journal- INQUEST (2349-5472).

Beyond campus his associational activities are noteworthy. He is involved with West Bengal Political Association, Council for Political Studies and Bengal Institute of Political Studies as life member.

Aziz Hasan joined the department on18.8.2006. Altogether he has more one and half decade of teaching experience. He has been entrusted various academic and administrative responsibility in the institution.

Apart from his regular teaching- learning responsibility, he is active in research activities. He presented 03 papers in national seminars and participated 25 national and international seminars/webinars.
