Landon 3D Model
To the left, are pictures of a render of a character I made beforehand, named Landon. His design revolves around a pirate, so the Unity scene was made to encapsulate this, with an added bow of a ship that I made, along with my custom water shader, and a skybox asset from Unity's asset store.
To make the model itself, I used a combination of Blender to sculpt the figure, while Maya was used for retopology, UVs and rigging. I have included the UVs and reference images within the carousel.
I tested myself with this model, to see where I was and what I could do in the future. Its certainly not perfect for a first model, but I learned a lot of both Blender and Maya in the process and I hope to learn more in the upcoming future.
Wyatt 3D Model
This project was placed in motion in June 2023, where I really wanted to try and make a model of my liking, at my own pace.
This time using Blender, I made my character, Wyatt with the engine. Blender's a little more convenient with its modifiers, such as mirror and subdivision modifiers, so it was easier to put together along with my knowledge from the previous Landon model.
I completed this model in the same idea as the Landon model however, starting with the main body, moving to the hair, then the clothes on his body.
Repair-a-Ride Assets
To learn more about this game, look to the "game document" tab.
These are art assets that were created for the design of this project, fully textured and structured together. The environment was created via Autodesk Maya, with each model (such as the switches and lights) being individual models altogether. The overall model was then imported to Unity so gameplay would be possible.
The following assets shown are rooms from either personal solo or group projects, showing iterations of assets if necessary.
Each of these models were created using Autodesk Maya, with my current knowledge of texturing, extrusions, topology, and edge loops.
The rooms were created as a parody of the game, "I'm on Observation Duty."
The first rendition of a sword I made for learning.
The second rendition of this same sword, with better retopology.
The third rendition of this same sword, design more akin to the original and made within Blender.
