Central Midweek Bowling League (CMBL)
History
The CMBL association was founded in 1968 and at present organises a local open gender outdoor summer lawn bowling league with currently six divisions ; two team knockout competitions ; a Singles KO ; and a Pairs KO for member clubs in the Mid Essex area, England.
The Association has at present { 07/4/2024} ( Season 2024) 21 active member bowling clubs :-
Billericay ,Boreham ,Braintree ,Chelmsford ,Danbury ,Falcon ,Gt Baddow ,Chancellor Park Methodist ,Ingatestone ,Lionmede, Maldon ,Mill Lane Witham, Princess Marie Louise ,RHP (Chelmsford) ,Silver End , Southminster, South Woodham Ferrers ,Stock & Buttsbury ,Tiptree Jobserve ,Witham and Writtle.
The primary aim of the website is to display and distribute the weekly league tables.
The association is affiliated to Bowls England and Essex County Bowling Association ECBA.
