Biography: Clyde joined the faculty of New Palestine High School in 2014 after teaching art at New Palestine Elementary for 29 years (1985-2013). Previous art teaching experience at Indianapolis Public School #74 and #110 from 1984-85. While conducting electronic portfolio research with Clark Fralick in 1998, observations of children’s self-directed art experiences led to an ongoing investigation of child centered learning experience and affiliation with the Teaching for Artistic Behavior Group. Gaw became a professor of continuing studies at MassArt in 2014 and continues to develop special projects, create and exhibit art.

Gaw is a distinguished fellow of the Art Education Association of Indiana.
