Validity in Survey Research

There are four types of validity that apply to research and the tools used in the research, that look at whether or not the information found in the results actually meets the purpose of the survey. The internal validity, external validity, construct validity, and statistical conclusion validity examine different aspects of the research and aim to bring the most accurate results. Validity issues are serious and may imply that the survey is not measuring the correct concept or construct as was intended.
