Defining Attributes of Case Studies:

• Specific case or cases are described in detail with intent

• Case(s) are bounded by time and place and described within certain parameters

• Researcher collects and integrates many forms of qualitative & quantitative data. Relying on one source of data is typically not enough to develop this in-depth understanding

• A complete findings section of a case study would then involve both a description of the case and themes or issues that the researcher has uncovered in studying the case.

• Conclude with overall meaning delivered from the case (Called assertions)
