Today’s challenge is to see if you can survive on $4.15 per day. The guidelines for the challenge are in this post. During this challenge think about the difficulties of living off of so little per day.
Needing food? Please look at Tuesday’s resources, talk to your counselors, or go to https://foodfinder.oregonfoodbank.org/. If you or another student is experiencing homelessness, please talk to someone at your school or here.
Challenge of the Day: Try to Live off a Food Stamps Diet
Living off foods stamps can be extremely challenging so today’s challenge is to try to do that. Think about how it would feel to go shopping every week with so little money. How would you make meals if you lived in your car or on the streets?
How did the challenge go for you? Let us know on our Instagram feed in the comments!
Think about the difficulties of the SNAP Challenge for just one day and imagine if you had to do that for months. If you are able to donate to the Club Hope drive, please do so this week.
We would love gift cards, non-perishable food (especially snacks and soups), new hats, masks, gloves, toiletries, etc. Please drop them off at Mountainside, Beaverton and/or Southridge High School today or tomorrow. Thank you!
