Andrew began his theatre journey on the stage at age 7. He played Eeyore in a grade school production of Happy Birthday, Eeyore! He continued performing throughout school, and once he graduated, continued with theatre courses in college. He got his start in community theatre working backstage for Little Colonel Playhouse in 2006. Since then, Andrew has performed a variety of roles in Louisville, Southern Indiana, Cincinnati, Frankfort, Lexington, and Shelbyville.

As a director, Andrew has worked on mysteries, comedies, farces, and dramas. With Sweeney Todd, Andrew is pleased to add musicals to that list. This show is near and dear to Andrew, as it was his first foray into learning about Stephen Sondheim and his vast catalogue of musical theatre. He is excited to see his vision for this masterpiece come to life on Clarksville's stage.

When he isn't working in the theatre, Andrew can be found at home with his wife- whom he met at CLT- and their menagerie of pets: 2 dogs, 6 cats, a bearded dragon, and a rabbit. If they aren't reading or playing board games, Andrew can usually be found working on another idea for a new play or bugging his best friend (Abby) with more play writing nonsense. He sends a huge thank you to Jason and the rest of the CLT Board of Directors for trusting him with this amazing show.

Kat would love to know how she keeps letting her husband drag her into working on his shows? In all seriousness though, she is just as excited to work on Sweeney as he is to direct it. She has been a jack of all trades on Sweeney- she's creating the meat pies and is the mastermind behind our trap door- among so much more.

Kat just finished stage managing Moriarty over at LCP after working tech for Lend Me A Tenor at CLT this past winter. She has also been seen on the stage at Clarksville Little Theatre in Children of a Lesser God (Sarah) and Blithe Spirit (Ruth). Kat’s love for theatre started at the ripe old age of 5 when her grandma signed her up- Thanks, Grandma! And she thinks she should probably give her husband some credit here too for bringing her back to the theatre with Children and encouraging her in any theatre endeavors she pursues.

When she isn’t working on a show, Kat can usually be found with her nose in a good book, cleaning the house, or invading Abby’s house for game night. She would also like to the thank her husband of encouraging her spastic creativity during this process. And to Illie and The Crimebag for keeping her sane when her husband loses it over every little detail of the show. Tink Tink! 

Abby is ecstatic to be working alongside her favorite director once again. Previously, Andrew and Abby have collaborated on ... well, almost all of the shows Andrew has directed. She is pumped to be working on Sweeney as this production has become a family affair- her daughter is jr. stage manager, her son is in the show, and her husband is helping with the set.

Before getting roped into working backstage, Abby started on the stage as a kid, performing in many productions in her school years- including playing Cogsworth in Disney's Beauty & the Beast at KCD. Abby has also graced the CLT's stage in their productions of Laura (Laura) and Stop the World... (Susan). 

In her spare time, Abby can be found curled up with a good book, or sitting on her back porch recording a podcast with Andrew (no, she never gets tired of him). A huge thank you to my family for their support and to Andrew for bringing me back into the folds of theatre time and time again.
